New Emergency Notification System
Talltree South has implemented a new emergency notification system, using this website. You can get a text message, an e-mail message, or both. If you want to be included, please provide your cell phone number and cell phone carrier name (e.g., Verizon, AT&T, etc.) and/or your e-mail address to the site office. The reason for the carrier name is that we actually send an e-mail to a special address at that carrier that turns it into a text.
Should an emergency occur, the site office or an authorized board member can send a text and/or e-mail message to all owners or residents or those in a particular building.
This was useful when we had a gas leak that caused a building to be without heat. We were able to send updates to people in that building.
We also posted announcements in the hallways and under people's doors, but this system allows us to get the word out directly to you. As always, make sure we have accurate contact information and keys to your units. We did have to utilize a locksmith in a few cases, to relight pilot lights when the gas was restored. You have to pay those charges if you have not provided a key!
